# Print Exports
APIs to export map images
With these APIs, you can render a map to a PNG, JPG or PDF image.
## Export map as image
> Render the map to a PNG, JPG or PDF image at a chosen size and view — what the app's "Export as image" produces, without a browser.\
> \
> The request waits up to 55 seconds and returns \`200\` with a completed export. Follow \`download\_url\` to download the file before \`expires\_at\`. Invalid requests return \`4xx\`; rendering failures return \`503\`, and a render that exceeds the request deadline returns \`504\`. There is no polling endpoint.
